Windmill Driven Aeration Revitalizes Stock Ponds

The article goes on to detail the fact that Superior Windmill uses self sealed bearing sets in its turbine to increase life expectancy, and heavy duty crankshaft and connecting rods to provide, reliability, smooth running and low maintenance.
There are very few moving parts in the Superior Windmill design where airflow is produced using molded rubber diaphragms. Air is drawn in on the down stroke and on the upstroke air is compressed into an air line and out through air diffusers located in the deeper areas of the pond.
